Tall footed yunomi, or drinking cup, holds 16 oz. liquid. Wheel thrown dark stoneware with anagama kiln natural ash glaze on outside and shino liner glaze on inside, 36 hour firing using oak and hemlock slab wood. “Moody” dark crystalline ash accumulation with glassy glaze pooling on one face and inside of cup with soft matte “burnt” clay surface on the other face. Two stamps on foot of cup, my signature “d.r.” chop, and triangle stamp to mark my wood-fired body of work. Hand wash recommended. Fired in Kurt Brantner’s “White Rocks Anagama Kiln”.
