Tall footed yunomi, or drinking cup, holds 14 oz. liquid. Wheel thrown light stoneware with anagama kiln natural ash glaze on outside and shino liner glaze inside, side fired on sea-shells, 36 hour firing using oak and hemlock slab wood. Great soft-matte ash accumulation on one face of this cup with glossy-bronze and matte flashing on the other face. Two stamps on foot of cup, my signature “d.r.” chop and triangle stamp to mark my wood-fired body of work. Hand wash recommended. Fired in Kurt Brantner’s “White Rocks Anagama Kiln”. Special thanks to Kurt Brantner Pottery.
